Of course, I would totally recommend that you also become one of their volunteers. Here, you will able to really make a difference by being involved in the daily caretaking of all the wild animals – some of them endangered and threatened species. This Volunteer and Internship Program has seen over 750 dedicated people from over 30 countries coming in and being part of their conservation efforts.
If, like many other visitors, you fall in love with any of the animals, they have an animal adoption programme enabling you to support the Cheetah Experience for a whole year.
Remember to visit their shop – Zawadi, for beautiful keepsakes and souvenirs! All proceeds from the shop also help to sustain their conservation efforts.
Guest reviews
“This place is a very good way to learna lot about cats. Tigers, lions, leopards, caracals, servals, wild cats, wolves, cheetahs, bat-eared foxes and other animals await visitors. The animals are well looked after by the staff and with a lot of love,” wrote Rainer L on their TripAdvisor page.
Alessio G added; “It is absolutely amazing that some volunteers spend their time to help and take care of animals like lions, cheetah, leopards and many others. The guide was so kindly to explain a lot of interesting things about these animals. The structure is not like Kruger Park and not like a zoo (fortunately) but manages to make people understand how fragile are these animals and how is important the job of these fantastic persons.”
“I have been to Cheetah Experience four years in a row now and don’t plan on missing a year anytime in the near future. You cannot help but feel like part of an amazing family, both people and animals, when you are here. It’s very obvious how much the staff love the animals here and do everything they can to make their lives as great as possible. If you’re an animal lover I highly recommend coming to Cheetah Experience, but be prepared to leave a piece of your heart when you go,” said Rebecca S.
