Glenfinnan Guest House has four luxury en-suite rooms available – Mull, Iona, Islay, Arran. The rooms sleep two each and come with a choice of a Deluxe Queen or two 3/4 twin beds that can be converted into a Super King on request. An extra bed can be fitted into Arran and Islay on request, if a couple have a child. Extra costs will apply.

Alternatively, one can pair up Islay and/ or Arran with Skye ( kitchen and lounge ) to have a self-catering unit. This is done on special request and subject to availability.

In-room amenities include Wi-Fi internet, comfy white percale linen, towels and tea/coffee making facilities.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.
