Guest accommodation at Foxy Crocodile Bush Retreat consists of 5 spacious units which offer an unrivalled immersion in the peace and beauty of the African bushveld. Spacious and private apartments, designed for getaways for couples to enjoy the quiet and embrace their time together.

The luxury apartments – Foxy lodge, Crocodile Lodge and Retreat Lodge are modern open plan ethnic chic with 2 private patios, a private boma and a splash pool. All units have WI-FI, air-conditioning, Netflix, indoor and outdoor showers and a roman bath to soak and relax.

The Foxy Lodge is the ultimate romantic safari getaway. Overlooking the Kruger National Park, it is spacious and light with many luxury amenities such as Netflix, air-conditioning, a private splash pool and boma.

In the Crocodile Lodge, you will find the same offering. You will love its spacious, outdoor shower (in addition to the inside full bathroom), where you can shower under the stars in the wild. It is a favourite among birders because of its private bird hide overlooking a watering hole.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
