Accommodation at Ammazulu African Palace
The Palace is really a place out of a fairy-tale. Choose between the President, Deluxe, Executive and Junior Suites.
If you opt for the Presidential Suite, you get astounding views overlooking the Kloof Gorge and Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The suite has its own private sweeping balcony and lounge area. One thing you will immediately notice are original African artworks and beaded panels extending even into the large en-suite bathroom.
The Deluxe Suites and the Executive Suites do come with a similar offering, however, in the Executive Suites, instead of a balcony, you get a private spacious veranda where you can relax and unwind either with a favourite book or your favourite drink.
Designed for those travelling on a budget, the Junior Suites offer smaller living space. In one, you will find a King-size bed and in the other a unique antique 4-poster Queen-size bed. There is no lounge area, but a large en-suite bathroom and a private veranda.
Whatever your choice of stay, expect luxury amenities such as soft towels, crisp fragranced white linen, super King-size beds, DStv, tea/coffee facilities and a small bar fridge (beverages stocked on request).

Reviews from previous Ammazulu guests
“The architect and the design of this place is truly amazing. All the artwork, all the designs on display make this a beautiful place to visit. So much to African art on display to look at and enjoy. Lovely place to stay, so peaceful and relaxing with amazing views,” wrote Marlaine Grout Andersen on their Facebook page.
Stavros Anthias added; “This unconventional, eclectic palace never ceases to amaze, in the true sense of the word. There are treasures aplenty in many nooks and crannies. It is a riot of colour, and a vibrant and pleasing assault on the senses. We will certainly be back. We enjoyed tea and scones, but this was by prior arrangement.”
