Accommodation at Jolly Roger Accommodation

Guest accommodation at Jolly Roger consists of two free-standing ‘hartbeeshuisies’ – or traditional wattle-and-daub house. Hartbeeshuisies are typically small with little in the line of architectural decoration.

These units – named the Duck & DoLittle cottage and the Pansy cottage, can sleep up to four people comfortably and comprise either one or two bedrooms with large, comfy beds covered in clean linen. The bathrooms come with a shower and basin and complimentary amenities.

Since your stay will be on a self-catering basis, your hosts have ensured that the units have kitchenettes with everything you might need – fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, frying pan, sandwich maker, two-plate stove, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, clothes iron.

The cottages also feature patios from where you can enjoy the calming views of the area over a meal or a lazy afternoon braai.

Facilities at Jolly Roger Accommodation

Facilities at the cottages include portable braai facilities for each unit.

There is also ample, off-street parking for your vehicles.

Not entirely a bad thing if you really think about it, the cottages do not TV or Wi-Fi. There is still full cellphone / internet signal in the area if you want to contact the outside world.

Activities in the Tsitsikamma

You are welcome to go hiking, jogging, cycling or birdwatching on the Nooitgedacht Nature Conservation grounds.

Other activities to enjoy in the area also include mountain biking, nature walks and landscape photography.
