The Lodge is located on the banks of the Berg River estuary where you will find plenty of things to do. Popular activities include the daily Quagga Lodge Game Drives, the Berg River Estuary, the West Coast Fossil Park, the Port Owen Marina, the Die Strandloper Restaurant and many other spots.
Try birding, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and do not leave without visiting the amazing Quagga Project where your hosts are hoping to bring back the Quagga zebra from extinction. The reserve is also home to the Blonde Wildebeest, Blonde Gemsbok (Oryx), Sable, Springbok and Buffalo.
