Mimosa Lodge boasts elegant double rooms for both overnight guests as well as those looking for longer stays. Or choose any one of their 11 Classic Rooms. Located within the main house – a charming 1859 national monument, the rooms are elegantly decorated in attractive hues that encourage relaxation. Inside you will find a shower or bath with hand shower as well as Double, Queen or Twin beds.
Their Garden Suites are equally popular with guests. There are 11 luxuriously-appointed suites, which are surrounded by beautiful gardens. All the suites include shower and bath, patio, Bluetooth Speaker, tea/coffee-making facilities as well as King, Queen or Twin Beds. Some rooms are wheelchair accessible and one room is wheelchair friendly.
Romantic couples or honeymooners will love their Orchard Suite. It is secluded and comes with its own private garden and champagne pool is perfect for a quiet romantic weekend away.
Inside, the suite boasts a shower and corner bath, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, private champagne pool with balcony and extra-length King-sized bed.

Facilities at Mimosa Lodge include a lovely pool for those hot summer afternoons, an extensive beautiful garden, a bar as well as a wedding facility. Free parking is also available.
Mimosa’s multiple award-winning Restaurant is renowned for its superb cuisine, run by owner-chef Bernhard Hess, the emphasis is on local, fresh and seasonal produce. Their menu changes on a daily basis. Although it is a fixed menu, they do cater for dietary requirements and we are very flexible to meet your requirements.
Things to do in Montagu
The area is filled with activities for all. For the more active, there is rock climbing, trail running etc. There are nature trails and hot springs nearby that can be explored using the lodge’s rental bikes.
The acclaimed Robertson Wine Valley and Bonnievale are short drive away.

Jennifer W added; “Stayed one night at this charming boutique hotel, in a very large, comfortable room with vaulted ceilings, king size bed, large bathroom with separate tub and shower, and A/C. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of shops/restaurants. The garden is lush and has a nice pool available 24/7. Pool towels are provided. A nice English breakfast was included. 4-course dinner and wine pairing can be added on for an extra price, although we elected to walk the small town and eat at a restaurant.”
