Choose from five luxury chalets offering 4 amazing views of the surrounding natural African bush and the river valley. The Forest View Luxury Chalet is a beautifully-decorated and spacious unit with a small lounge and dining area.

It comes with a King-sized bed with mosquito netting, a bathroom with a double vanity and double walk-in shower as well as an open log fire with chimney separating your lounge and bedroom. The chalet has large sliding doors that lead onto a patio with a sunken plunge pool and outside shower.

The aptly named River View Luxury Chalets also come with boast King-size beds, large stone baths, waterfall showers and fireplaces. Again, there are large sliding screen and glass doors lead onto private wooden-stilted decks with plunge pools, from which you can take in awe-inspiring Sabie River Valley views.

Romantics will be happy to hear that, there are two Honeymoon Chalets. The chalets feature large bedrooms with King-size beds, small lounges and dining rooms, and partially-shielded, en-suite bathrooms, private decks, plunge pools and outside showers.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
