Accommodation at Aan de Vliet Stellenbosch
Aan de Vliet Guest House Stellenbosch has four comfortable guest units. Three of these units are sited for longer stays and have self-catering facilities.
The Tree-House is a two-room apartment that is a favourite for longer stays with Aan de Vliet guests. This airy apartment has more space with a separate lounge, a fully-equipped kitchen and an adjoining bedroom – thus can sleep four people if required.
There is a private balcony with barbeque facilities, patio furniture and sun-loungers for alfresco meals outside. Here, you can unwind with sundowners while enjoy lovely views over the garden and dam.
The bedroom comes with a King-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower while the kitchen area has an additional TV.
If you are a family or group of friends, you can book their two Bird Nests units. These two units are located next to each other and share a balcony, which can be partitioned if you need privacy.
The units are called the birds’ nests because they are on the first floor and you have a birds-eye view on the treetops like you were sitting in a bird’s nest! Inside, you will find semi-self-catering kitchenettes, an open plan lounge, a bedroom with King-size bed and en-suite bathrooms (shower only).
Known as Room 2, this unit is smaller but preferred by many Aan de Vliet guests as it is still comfortable and very cosy. It is on first floor and has lovely views over the garden. It can be booked as an adjoining unit with the Tree-House or as a separate room on its own.
Inside is a Queen-size bed, twin tub chairs and writing table, en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning as well as a balcony/patio with outside table and chairs.
Full DStv, air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi, tea/coffee facilities, a bar fridge, kettle and espresso machine come standard in every unit.

“We stayed at Aan de Vliet for four nights. The owner and staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room very spacious and super clean. We were probably 7kms from the Stellenbosch airfield and the same to town. However we still felt like we were in the countryside. Looking forward to our next stay here,” said Gerda P.
