Accommodation at Little Eden St Lucia

There are six affordable, comfortable accommodation offerings at Little Eden. If you need undisturbed peace, surrounded by nature, Little Eden should be your destination.

The Inyoni apartment can sleep two or three people. It comes with a Queen-size bed; en-suite bathroom with shower only as well as a patio with views of the area. Your hosts can add a sleeper couch in the lounge for a child or a camping cot for a baby.

You can choose the Impunzi, a two-bedroom apartment with beautiful sea views. It can sleep between two and four people and comes with a Queen-size bed in one of the bedrooms and bunk beds in the other. This unit is ideal for a couple travelling with two kids or two singles. Inside is a full bathroom with bath and shower. It overlooks the garden and swimming pool.

If you are sizeable family of up to five people, choose the Imvubu two-bedroom unit. The main bedroom comes with a Queen-size bed and the second bedroom features three single beds.  Two of the single beds can also be converted into a King bed of a couple.  It boasts a full bathroom with bath and shower as well as an additional separate toilet. It has its own entrance with remote sliding gate, private garden and is pet friendly. Private BBQ Braai area in the front and back gardens.

The Ndlovu unit also caters for families with two-bedrooms that can sleep up to five people. It also comes with a Queen-size bed in the main bedroom and three single beds in the 2nd bedroom.  Two of the single beds can also be converted into a King bed of a couple. There is a full bathroom with bath and shower plus additional separate toilet. Private BBQ Braai area in the front and back gardens.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom Mpisi apartment is ideal for a larger family. Situated on the ground floor with a spectacular panoramic view of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, part of the Indian Ocean, the Mapelane dunes and the Umfolozi River mouth. The main bedroom has a Queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom (shower only) while the other two bedrooms have two Single beds each or a King-size bed for a couple. It also has sliding doors from the main bedroom and lounge area that open unto the pool area with sea views. There is a full bathroom with bath and shower, a dining room, a comfortable lounge area with DSTV and Aircon.

The Imboniso large open-plan designed unit for larger families or friends travelling together comprising of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortable lounge area with glass doors leading out onto a large balcony with a private BBQ area together with a beautiful panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, iSimangaliso Wetland Park the Mapelane dunes and the Umfolozi River mouth. Two of the bedrooms come with a Queen-size bed each while the third has a Tri-Bunk bed (Double Bed + 2 Single beds). The unit can sleep up to eight people. One of the bathrooms comes with a shower only while the other features a bath and shower.

All the units offer DSTV, Air-Conditioning, a Fully Equipped Kitchen, Comfortable Lounges, Bath & Beach Towels and Private Braai Areas. Wi-Fi is also available throughout the property so you can keep posting those amazing holiday statuses.

Little Eden boasts a wonderful children’s play area with loads of fun things to do for the kids while you relax at the BBQ or picnic area or bask in the sun at the outdoor pool.

Restaurants with a good mix of service, food and ambiance

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance.  Of these, service is the most important. 

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion.  However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review.  We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

However, the best restaurants come with the best of service, food and ambiance.

Spas are the ultimate relaxation aid

How do you know when you have had a great spa experience?  The answer, of course, is when you doze off on the treatment table. 

Well that’s our theory anyway.  It also doesn’t take a grand location with enormous facilities for a spa to be really good

A small, personal spa that is owner run can result in the best massage you have ever experienced.  However, the grand spas in five star hotels offer unsurpassed facilities in an environment that just makes the stress in your shoulders and neck melt away before you even finish checking in.

You don’t have to be an adrenaline junky to enjoy an exciting experience.  In fact, what are commonly termed adventure activities usually have incredibly high safety standards and unblemished safety records.

Ziplining, bungy jumping and shark cage diving are all very safe.  It’s just that our mind tells us we are craaazzzzyyyy to be doing this.
