Accommodation at the Resort comprises of a selection of Standard Rooms and Superior Rooms as well as 4 Sleeper Self-Catering and 6 Sleeper Self-Catering units.

Available as standard double (one double bed), family double (two double beds) and family interleading (one double, two single beds), the Standard Rooms are designed to offer comfort.

The Superior Rooms take things up a notch while the Self-Catering units come with either a double bed and one double sofa bed in the lounge or two rooms with a double bed, two single beds and a double sofa bed in the lounge.

Room amenities in all the units include en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi internet, air-conditioning, DStv, tea/coffee making facilities and mini-bar fridge.

For those wanting to better experience the Paulpietersburg countryside, the resort has 30 Camping And Caravan Stands – all with water and electricity and braai facilities. Camping guests can also use the resort facilities.

There are also three sets of ablution and kitchen blocks at each end of the grounds that are serviced throughout the day. A convenience shop is available, with the basics.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
