Paraglide Africa offers paragliding in Sedgefield on the Garden Route, and they have recently opened a branch in Cape Town, with a base on Signal Hill.

Cape Town being one of the top travel destinations in the world is probably one of the most spectacular sites for paragliding.

Iconic Table Mountain, Lions Head, Signal Hill, The Twelve Apostles and the magnificent beaches seen from the air as you glide over them in silence is an experience like no other.

Flights are offered all year round. So, if you are on holiday, it’s best to book your flight early in case it has to be postponed due to weather conditions.

Paragliding is an adventure sport for all. The only limitation is weight, the maximum being 130kgs.

An Instructional tandem flight includes a professional paragliding instructor with all the required safety equipment, pre- and post-flight briefing, assistance during take-off and landing as well as a shuttle back to the starting point.

The pilot will record your inflight photo and videography which will be available for purchase afterwards.

Paraglide Africa is also a paragliding school which besides Tandem flights, offers tours, paragliding training, and is a retailer for paragliding equipment.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
