Need to get the adrenaline pumping – experience the thrill of diving with sharks on the Aliwal Shoal.

Love ship wrecks? Choose the Wreck Diving package which takes to the two ship wrecks found in the Aliwal Shoal – The Produce and the over-a-century old Nebo.

Their Southern Reefs package is designed to get you exploring the Half Acre, Cowrie Reef, Fern Reef, Butchers, Landers, Outside Landers and Allen’s Cave. You will find these reefs teaming with an assortment of marine life.

With the Shark Watch & Shark Snorkeling package, you don’t have to dive deep to interactive with the sharks. Often, you can view the sharks right on the deck of a boat.

Never dived before? You can also learn to dive with them! Their Speciality Listings targets particular diving skills. Their Diving Courses are targeted at both young and old aspirant divers. If you’re interested in taking your diving skills one step further than recreational diving, try their Professional Courses.

Want a place stay over your weekend? Book their 4-Star accommodation at 32 on Harvey. The guest house offers seven comfortable en-suite rooms and is located a walking distance from the dive center as well as the town of Umkomaas. In addition there is a lovely swimming pool and an outdoor entertainment area, which comfortably accommodates 20 guests.

Restaurants with a good mix of service, food and ambiance

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

However, the best restaurants come with the best of service, food and ambiance.

Spas are the ultimate relaxation aid

How do you know when you have had a great spa experience? The answer, of course, is when you doze off on the treatment table.

Well that’s our theory anyway. It also doesn’t take a grand location with enormous facilities for a spa to be really good
