Reviews from previous Black Rhino Game Lodge guests
“What an amazing place to visit, the whole experience was just fabulous, great game drives, fabulous friendly staff, stunning lodges, and excellent food each time we ate. Our fantastic guide Kobus was knowledgeable and very friendly, always ready to answer questions and if he was unsure he made sure he would find out the answer for the next ride. We saw plenty of animals (lion, giraffe, white rhino, elephant, cheetah, impala and other types of antelope) back at the lodge for wind down, the waiting staff are so polite and easy going; we had a waiter called Daniel who was just the best. I would really recommend to anyone Black Rhino for their safari adventure, pure value for money and fantastic everything,” wrote Steve P on their TripAdvisor page.
clintr923 added; “A great reserve only an hour and a half from Johannesburg with the Big Five. Very well managed with great safari guides. Accommodation is very stylishly appointed and very well kept. Definitely worth a visit and yes I would go back in a heartbeat.”
“As locals, we visited the lodge to celebrate my husband’s birthday. What a wonderful choice, the staff are so kind and welcoming and the accommodations recently renovated. We saw plenty of animals on the safari drives, 3 of the big 5 and learnt so much about our flora and fauna from our knowledgeable guide. The food was delicious and they accommodated our dietary requirements. The staff celebrated my husband’s birthday with a song and cake, making the night all the more special. We will definitely visit again!” said Bianca Rochelle P.
