Choose from eight elegant and African-styled accommodation options that are designed to make your holiday in Pringle Bay memorable. Four options are standard rooms while two are Superior Rooms and the remainder Family units.

In the Brunia, Felicia, Elegia rooms, expect amenities such as extra-length Queen-size beds; open plan bathrooms with showers, basin and separate toilet; under floor heating; writing desks; Wi-Fi access; hairdryers; TVs with Blu-ray players as well as coffee/tea making facilities and mini-bar fridges. In addition to the above, the Acacia room also offers uninterrupted views of Betty’s Bay.

Or choose between the Protea or Erica units, which are the Superior Rooms offering an extra-length King-size bed in the former and King-size or extra-length Twin beds in the latter. The units also come with open plan bathrooms with rain-shower, bath, double basin and separate toilet; under-floor heating; writing desks; bed side lights; Wi-Fi access; TVs with Blu-ray players; coffee/tea making facilities and mini-bar fridges.

While the Protea unit can function as a honeymoon suite and offers uninterrupted views overlooking Betty’s Bay, the Erica room offers valley views.

Those travelling with kids will love the Grubbia and Albiflora units. Sleeping up to four people in each one, they also feature lounge areas and a separate bedroom that can used as a children’s room. Expect extra-length Queen-size beds and extra length Twin beds; closed bathrooms with shower, bath, basin and separate toilet; under floor heating; desks, hairdryer; Wi-Fi; TVs with Blu-ray players as well as coffee/tea making facilities and mini-bar fridges.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
