Professional or recreational golfers will find golfing at Umdoni Park Golf Club on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast a beautiful and pleasurable experience. Established in 1939, this golf club is known as one of the hidden treasures of the South Coast.
The course boasts breath-taking ocean views that can be enjoyed over most of the course. It is situated on 200 hectares of indigenous coastal forest with the par 5 eighteenth and par 3 sixteenth holes on elevated tees.

The 18-holes at Umdoni Park Golf Club are set in truly striking terrain. The front nine holes run alongside the ocean, while the back nine stretches inland through dense indigenous forest vegetation.
The course itself measures 5 560 metres from the tips and the clubhouse has recently been renovated allowing players to enjoy spectacular views.
You will find elevation changes with every hole, making it not only an adventure but also a test of skills and judgement to be enjoyed during play.

- The Trust Cottage and annexe sleeping 16 in self-catering accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen, built in braai, all linen, crockery & cutlery supplied. Serviced daily; and
- Botha House, a bed and breakfast comprising 9 double or twin en-suite bedrooms and a self-catering cottage, all with king-sized beds. This historical house can comfortably host up to 22 visitors. Some of the suites and the cottage offer panoramic sea views with the remaining 2 smaller suites off our lovely and picturesque courtyard garden. All providing an unforgettable experience.
Umdoni Park plays its part for conservation
The Umdoni Park Trust, which aims to not only maintain the golf course but also preserve the local indigenous coastal forest, was established in 1920.
The Trust is committed to the protection and preservation of the flora and fauna in the area and the eradication of alien vegetation. The Trust also plays a role in education by regularly inviting schools and higher education institutions to their facility to learn about the natural environment and conservation.
