About Thendo
Her ability to work with people showcase excellent communication skills and great empathy. Thendo is a proud Limpopian, who hails from a township called Shayandima and is now proudly a Mashamba home girl.
She is gifted in managing relationships and her ability to attract and retain customers is based on her intrinsic knowledge of her customer base. She values on-going academic and practical development and study.
Thendo has a keen interest and passion for food, fitness, traveling and new and experimental cannabis-infused dishes. She is a seasoned entrepreneur with experience in running retail, food, construction, and property related ventures since 1999.
People around her lovingly call her the Fit Chef because of her passion for fitness and food. Madi a Thavha, her newest venture since October 2020, was taken over during a particularly difficult time in the tourism industry. It posed an interesting challenge, that Thendo readily stepped up to.
Since then, She and her team have reshaped Madi A Thavha greatly, exploring innovative, fresh ideas on how to keep the lodge relevant and still retain the cultural, food, and adventurous experience Madi a Thavha has to offer.
Accommodation at Madi a Thavha Mountain Lodge
Your choice of accommodation includes five en-suite guest rooms, four suites offering both self-catering and dinner bed and breakfast options as well as a large family guesthouse with two en-suite bedrooms.
Each option can accommodate between two and four guests. On request, they can cater for tour groups of up to 24 people.
Whichever option you choose, expect large, comfy beds with clean linen and mosquito nets; Wi-Fi internet access; TVs with DStv; full-equipped kitchens; amazing mountain views; terraces/verandas and private entrances with each unit.
