A variety of en-suite accommodation to suit all needs is available.

Each spacious room comes with DSTV, air conditioning, electric blankets, tea/coffee facilities, bar fridge, private safe and free parking.

Two family suites are available which can accommodate up to six people.

For longer stays, self-catering apartments are available. These are ideal for families or friends and offer a fully equipped kitchen, seating area, and an indoor braai facility.

The two stylish honeymoon suites feature a romantic four poster, queen size bed, a seating area and a spa bath.

All accommodation has access to the a la carte restaurant and room service.

Cranberry Cottage Restaurant

This cosy restaurant is ideal for families or for a romantic evening for two. A wide selection of imported and local wines is available. The menu features traditional and modern cuisine and caters for all tastes, including a children’s menu.

A popular hangout for sports fans is the bar where you can snack and watch your favourite sports program.

A coffee shop on the shady garden deck is a great place for a light lunch, good coffee and exquisite cakes. Their famous speciality milk shakes, like Ferrero Rocher or Nougat, are a must try, and a children’s playroom will keep the little ones amused.

The Wellness Centre

Phomola African Retreat at Cranberry Cottage offers a variety of spa treatments. It is the perfect place to relax in the peaceful surrounds and restore your soul.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

Ziplining, bungy jumping and shark cage diving are all very safe. It’s just that our mind tells us we are craaazzzzyyyy to be doing this.
