The Peninsula All-Suite Hotel offers 110 casual suites, with classic furnishings.

The suites are open plan bedroom and lounge with a kitchen, and most have a balcony. The suites range from one to three bedrooms, and enjoy magnificent views of the promenade, Atlantic Ocean and Robben Island.

All have flat screen TV, air conditioning, telephone, Wi-Fi and a separate bathroom. To add to your comfort there is a laundry service, 24-hour room service and even the convenience of grocery delivery.

Facilities at the Peninsula All-Suite Hotel

The Sunset Restaurant opens onto the pool and garden area and is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The restaurant has a casual beach vibe and serves international cuisine.

Located alongside the hotel you will find the Strolla Restaurant, where guests can opt to order from should they so wish.

Other facilities include a Gym and Sauna, two swimming pools, an in-house personal fitness trainer, and a games room for children.

The staff at reception will gladly assist you with tours, car hire and flight confirmations. And should you need a computer, there are two work stations in the foyer.

Business conferences, functions and weddings are catered for in a variety of venues. Their in-house professional wedding co-ordinator will assist you to plan your perfect day.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.
