The House of Glengariff is set on a working sheep, cattle and maize farm in the Underberg area of the Southern Drakensberg.
This gracious old sand stone house stands in open farm land surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden with tall shady trees.
The house is wheel chair accessible and is an ideal place for a family retreat or for a group of friends.
The garden is fenced so it is a safe place for children to play and pets are also welcome.
There are plenty of activities for young and old to enjoy on the farm. Children can hold and feed the lambs and calves. There is catch and release trout fishing, canoeing, bird watching, walking and cycling on the farm property.
The veranda, which runs almost the length of the house, is a great outdoor living space. Furnished with a table, benches and couches, it is ideal for alfresco meals or a braai. It is a perfect place to sit in the sun and enjoy the spectacular views or wind down the day with sundowners.
