Their well-maintained fleet of vehicles comprise one fourteen-seater Quantam, and two eight-seater Hyundai H1, all in excellent condition.

Clifford’s Tours are predominantly from Burgersfort, Polokwane and Gauteng.

An added bonus is that Clifford Ngakane also owns THREE luxury guest lodges in the area, Rufaro Hotel Conference & Spa, Dineo’s Lodge & Spa both in Burgersfort and Butterfly Tree Lodge in Phalaborwa. This enables them to offer accommodation at competitive and negotiable prices.

Tour Packages Offered by Clifford’s Tours

Packages offered include a day trip to see the sights of Mpumalanga – The Potholes, Three Rondavels, Graskop, and Echo Caves. This package includes a braai at Rufaro Lodge on return. A minimum of eight people is required for this tour.

A two-night stay at Rufaro Luxury Lodge and a day trip on the Mpumalanga Panorama route, will include a free massage for one person per room.

A weekend trip, Friday to Sunday, to Mozambique, includes accommodation and breakfast, an ensures a great time of fun and entertainment.

A four-day trip to Bilene in Mozambique includes transport, accommodation and breakfast, and a great beach vibe.

There will be opportunities to enjoy Portuguese restaurants, local markets, beaches, boat trips or Inhaca Island.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
