Day Tours

Windhoek Downtown is a four-hour walking tour exploring the rich Namibian history and unique day to day African city life.

This tour includes the Christus Kirche, known as the church of peace, the museum, the parliament building and garden, and historical and iconic monuments.

Katatura township is where you can catch a glimpse of Namibia’s rich cultural diversity and heritage. Here you can watch women making glass beads, creating batik, pottery, beautiful embroidery, recycled glass jewellery, and have an opportunity to visit their shop to purchase some souvenirs.

At the township you will also visit a cultural restaurant and have an opportunity to try some African Cuisine or visit the Oshedu Community Market which is a great place to socialise and taste traditional African fast food.

Multi Day Tours

Meerkat Safaris off tours from three to seven-days which take in Sossusvlei with its famous red sand dunes, the highest is 325 metres. A four-day tour to Etosha National Park, home of many wild life species, including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and a variety of plains animals. A seven-day Southern Highlights tour includes the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon in the USA.

Personalized tours and safaris are also offered for small groups throughout South African, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia Lesotho and Swaziland.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

How do you know when you have had a great spa experience? The answer, of course, is when you doze off on the treatment table.
