Situated in Tulbagh, Guinevere Guest Farm is a luxury self-catering farm house tucked away on a private lifestyle farm with the focus on health and wellbeing.

The house boasts spectacular 36O degree views of surrounding Tulbagh and offers exclusive private accommodation for any private group or event.

The farm is backed up by a generator which powers lights, some plugs, TV’s, WIFI and water pumps in case of load shedding.

Retreats at Guinevere Guest Farm

The farm house offers a safe and private place for a retreat. They are the perfect place to enjoy time out.

Amenities include a yoga studio, swimming pool, a deck with hot tub, and a central courtyard with day beds. Large open spaces provide ideal spaces for quiet times and leisurely walks.

Weddings at Guinevere Guest Farm

The guest farm is an ideal place for a weekend away wedding or for those on a stricter budget, a midweek wedding.

Three exclusive wedding packages are offered for up to fifty guests, who will have exclusive use of the entire venue.

The front lawn with its lush gardens is a perfect place for the ceremony and reception. Alternate venues are offered in the central courtyard or inside the house.

Packages include furniture, equipment, décor and flowers and their staff will assist with all logistics. Recommendations for service providers such as caterers, photographers, DJ’s and bar staff is offered.

Self-Catering Accommodation at Guinevere Guest Farm

The farm offers a large well-equipped kitchen for group catering with multiple prep stations, a seating area, a fire place and large smart TV.

A patio includes a braai area which leads to a boma.

A spacious lounge and dining hall provides seating for 32 people.

One large ensuite bedroom sleeps four and has a small kitchenette.

Five en-suite twin bedrooms and three en-suite triple bedrooms each have a private balcony.

A loft bedroom with two double beds, shares a bathroom.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

How do you know when you have had a great spa experience? The answer, of course, is when you doze off on the treatment table.

Ziplining, bungy jumping and shark cage diving are all very safe. It’s just that our mind tells us we are craaazzzzyyyy to be doing this.
