Marvelled by the surrounding paradise, Leopard Valley and their staff work tirelessly to continue the conservation of the area, safeguarding it so that future generations have a place to get away from the chaos of city life.

Overlooking the surreal landscapes, their five stylish cabins were crafted from upcycled shipping containers, making them eco-friendly. Off-grid, each cabin contains all the comforts and modern luxuries a discerning traveller could want. At the same time, maintain the stern protection of the Wild Coast’s natural heritage. The modern luxury that guests can expect in each cabin includes Wi-Fi, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, a gas stove, linen and towels made from 100% cotton, eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and soap. There is also an indoor and outdoor shower, a cosy fireplace and a braai area. And while the cabins are remote, guests who require any assistance can contact the manager, who lives just around the corner.

Their four boutique glamping tents, titled Wild Olive, Waboom Protea, Rooibos, and Buchu, offer an ideal getaway for couples, as each comfortably accommodates up to two adults. The romantic escape into nature is complemented by modern amenities, including a wood-fired hot tub.

Lastly, they offer guests the option to book one of their Cape Hare Caravans, with each featuring amenities such as a kitchenette, outdoor bath, a fire pit, and outdoor restroom facilities.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.

You don’t have to be an adrenaline junky to enjoy an exciting experience. In fact, what are commonly termed adventure activities usually have incredibly high safety standards and unblemished safety records.

Ziplining, bungy jumping and shark cage diving are all very safe. It’s just that our mind tells us we are craaazzzzyyyy to be doing this.
