Located in Hluhulwe, Gooderson DumaZulu Lodge offers an authentic African experience in northern KwaZulu Natal. Accommodation units are designed to resemble different tribes of Africa, including Zulu, Swazi, North Sotho, Xhosa, Venda, Tsonga and Ndebele.
The Lodge has a children’s play area and an outdoor pool where swimming is possible all year round because of the warm climate.

Their traditional lunches are cooked in iron pots and served in the open-air dining area. Dinners are served in the restaurant, buffet style, and the boma around a central fire is a great place to socialise after dinner.

Accommodationoffered is in 31 rounded ethnic huts, arranged in a circle around a central cattle kraal to resemble a traditional Zulu village.
Each double or twin ensuite room is tastefully decorated in ethnic style and earthy colours of orange, red and brown, with straw or wooden beam ceilings.
There is a self-catering option, which sleeps four, is offered which includes a kitchenette, giving guests the choice of home cooking or dining in the restaurant. All units are air conditioned, have a safe and tea and coffee facilities and WiFi is available at the main lodge.
