Adventure Zone – Calling all Adrenalin Junkies

Located in Gauteng and Western Cape, Adventure Zone is home to some of the best adrenaline pumping activities in South Africa.

Adventure Zone offers a wide range of activities to satisfy adventure lovers of all ages. This includes individuals, private social groups, school groups, as well corporate and team building groups, national and international tourists

Adventure Zone currently has three branches, each with a different focus.

Adventure Zone Cullinan

This branch boasts one of the longest and fastest zipline routes in South Africa. With four slides ranging from 260 metres to 570 metres, and heights of 80 metres, speeds can reach up to 100 km/h.

An exciting event which is offered once a month is their Full Moon Glide. This event includes their four-slide zip line, a game drive, sundowners and a great bush braai.

More adventures include abseiling, archery, hiking, drumming and quad safaris.

Adventure Zone Voortrekker Monument

This branch focuses on history and cultures as well as adrenalin pumping activities. A guided quad bike safari will take you through pristine bush where you can get up close to animals while driving your own quad bike.

This zone specialises in kid’s parties and offers different packages for all ages.

Adventure Zone Plettenberg Bay (Robberg)

This branch is the newest of the three, after long negotiations Adventure Zone and CapeNature went into partnership to provide some of the best adventure activities to this region.
Robberg is a known nature reserve and heritage site with loads of natural and historical gems. Our 12 storey abseil is an activity not to be missed, this is absolutely your next bucket list activity.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
