Accommodation at Thobeka Lodge
Set amongst shady trees in a peaceful rural setting, Thobeka Lodge offers accommodation in true African style.
Each room is built according to the Zulu tradition, made with mud, grass, tree poles, mud bricks and a thatched roof.
Accommodation is offered in a variety of rooms, twin, double, dormitories and family rooms, with comfortable beds, fans and mosquito nets. Some rooms have private bathrooms and a kitchenette and a braai area, while others share communal ablutions and a communal kitchen.
Each room is separated by a wooden walkway, offering privacy and space, and which leads to the kitchen and ablution facilities with hot showers and toilets.
The communal kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and fridges as well as tea, coffee and sugar.
Thobeka Lodge welcomes campers who will need to bring their own tents and equipment, plus an electrical cord to connect to the power points.
At the rustic bar, swimming pool and braai area guests may relax on the sun loungers or sit at the tables provided. This is a great spot where guests are free to socialise around the fire, tell stories, make their own entertainment, or simply gaze at the stars.
