There are some places you just know you have to stop at and experience. One of these is Bread & Brew at the Crags.
Situated right on the N2 in The Crags Shopping Centre outside Plettenberg Bay, it’s a perfect place to break your journey and enjoy a respite.
This wheel chair accessible restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, and is full of delightful surprises. It’s a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal while the children are free to play in the safe garden.
Old-school activities, including a touch farm, will keep them amused and happy. Pets are welcome provided they are on a leash, as the chickens roam around freely.
The shop is a delight to browse through with gifts and curios and interesting décor. Fresh farm produce and delicious treats are for sale in the Deli.
The Food at Bread & Brew
Wonderfully fresh salads and vegetables are grown in their own garden and the eggs are their own free range. The bread is freshly baked and the freshly brewed coffee is the best.
You may choose from a fixed menu or you can build your own menu from a personal selection of ingredients.
This is a fun system where you tick off on a laminated paper your choice from a wide selection salads, breads and extra toppings. These will be beautifully served to you in little portions to make your own sandwich or you can tick to have us build you your very own sandwich, salad or breakfast.
They do not have a cut off time for serving breakfast, enjoy their wide selection of breakfast specials or their delicious eggs benedict made with their own hollandaise sauce.
Bread and Brew serves traditional comfort food like pies and boboti and delicious sweet treats.
Sunday Lunch is a wonderful traditional menu with the likes of roast lamb, cauliflower and white sauce, pumpkin fritters and malva pudding.
Bread and Brew also offer small event catering and are known for their great service and friendly staff.
