Accommodation at The Garden Venue

Exclusive rooms with fantastic views combine classic style with contemporary flair. Being a boutique hotel, each room enjoys a different design element.

Double and single en suite rooms are available. Guests can choose between either a deluxe or standard room with king, queen and twin bed options. Beyond the standard and deluxe rooms, they also have five honeymoon suites.

The sumptuous English and continental breakfast presented daily by the chefs are not to be missed. Wi-Fi is complimentary, all rooms include coffee stations and airport transfers are available on request.

Weddings at The Garden Venue

There are five exquisite venues to choose from, all with elegant indoor and outdoor facilities, along with four gorgeous garden chapels. Anything from intimate and private gatherings to large and lavish celebrations can unfold here. In fact, up to 450 guests can be accommodated, or more, in a Bedouin or marquee tent.

With regards to documenting the day, the location is a photographer’s dream backdrop. Several wedding packages are offered which can include the venue, flowers, décor, catering, drinks, waiters, bartenders, music, a DJ, a sound system and accommodation.

The Garden Venue is arguably one of the best corporate event spaces in Johannesburg. With 13 premium halls and rooms for conferences, meetings and functions – complete with multiple outdoor breakaway spaces – they can host events both small and large. Plus, the equipment is state of the art and packages can be tailored to suit your requirements.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
