There are ten different rooms to choose from at Victorskloof Lodge & Spa, each one comes with a small library, sherry tray and tea and coffee-making facilities. There are three different room options; Double/Twin Rooms, Family Rooms and Family self-catering rooms.

Four rooms come with King or twin beds while the six family suites come with a King-sized bed and two single beds. All rooms have a TV with DStv, hairdryer and safe. They have their own separate entrances that open onto the garden terrace or pool area.

Beautiful views of Table Mountain and the ocean can be enjoyed from each room as well.

The self-catering suites come with a fully – equipped kitchenette for all your self-catering needs.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.
