The Manor was built over 100 years ago and has an aura old old-world charm and grandeur. There are six suites to choose from, each sleeping a maximum of two people.

Seaforth is their recently refurbished modern guesthouse. It is perfect to hire as a private villa for family and friends. There are three suites to choose from, each sleeping a maximum of two people.

The Homestead guesthouse has an elegant Cape Dutch façade and is both striking in its contemporary feel and harmonious style. There are six suites to choose from that face the ocean, each sleeps a maximum of two people.

All suites of the guesthouses come equipped with en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath, underfloor heating, TV with DStv, private room safe, hairdryer, a separate lounge and laundry.

The guesthouses are equipped with a fireplace, swimming pool, dining and breakfast room, gym, secure parking, spa treatments and limited wheelchair access.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.
