Set in the Valley of a Thousand Hills just 30 minutes from central Durban and Pietermaritzburg, the setting is spectacular.

Jason says, “We offer three different paintball fields. One is located in old farm buildings, the second is a custom made speedball field and then there is the bush field.”

“The bush field is set in a riverine forest with a natural stream, plenty of bush and large rocks. It is the best in all Durban.”

On site, there is a paintball shop for extra ammo and selling all manner of equipment. I can tell you from experience that paintball requires plenty of exertion and adrenaline both of which make you very hungry. Thankfully, there is a restaurant on site selling soft drinks and light meals.

Hillcrest Paintball caters for young kids too with their low-powered Splatmasters. Thus, this is an ideal venue for a kid’s birthday party or corporate team building.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.
