A little bit of gin, a little bit of farm-to-table cuisine, a little bit of homemade hot chocolate, a little bit of magic and a whole lot of coffee at the Coffee Exchange!
A visit to their Parkmore location was just what the doctor ordered one morning. The coffee spot is industrially modern and the staff greet you with eagerness.
Beans are roasted on site and you can savour the flavours at home by purchasing them in store.
This artisan roasting business combines a high-quality coffee experience with home-style foods and unique flavour encounters and after perusing their great menu, I thought I would give the white chocolate freezo and the blueberry flap-jacks with bacon and syrup a whirl.
I followed my meal with a delectable cappuccino and did not regret my decision, one bit!
THE COFFEE EXCHANGE DOUBLES AS AN AWESOME GIN BAR
Laurence Bekink, the owner of the Coffee Exchange, explained enthusiastically how his passion for coffee and gin came to fruition “it’s more than just a coffee bar, it’s a place for regulars to become friends”.
The coffee shop doubles as an awesome gin bar for late afternoon cocktails with a wide variety of gins and tonics on offer. Their chocolate (mocha) drinks are extremely popular too, only the best Belguim chocolate is used and the flavours are pure heaven!
Selected weekend nights will delight foodies galore as Café Tibz offers a delicious popup menu to sample.
The Coffee Exchange is simply magic, I would highly recommend you experience the magic for yourself soon.
