Hello! It’s Me; no, it’s not the Adele hit, but rather a new vibey restaurant making waves in the city. Hello! It’s Me packs a punch, a healthy punch!
Making use of locally sourced, free-range and organic produce, the menu has been carefully put together by General Manager Michelle Bailey, who is also a qualified chef.
“We did not want to offer the same food that you would expect to find in any other restaurant in PE. We wanted to offer fresh, healthy meals – the food you should be eating,” says Michelle.
Hello! It’s Me has a refreshing atmosphere
A colleague and I indulged in not only an aesthetically pleasing, but also mouth-watering good meal of generous proportions. The lamb burger, with Ouma Ria’s sweet mustard and tempura zoodle fries, is simply superb!
Our friendly waiter convinced me to try their Red Turmeric Cappuccino, a blend of Turmeric, Ginger, Cinnamon and Black Pepper and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted.
The restaurant interior and excellent service must be visited to be truly appreciated. The mix of retro industrial, eclectic artwork, rich woods and hanging plants make for a modern and inviting atmosphere.
The restaurant launched their dinner menu at the beginning of September and I cannot wait to return to experience this vibey restaurant at night.
Find them at the 1054 building, 254 Main Road Walmer, Port Elizabeth, or call 041 581 0934 or email admin@helloitsme.co.za for more information and bookings.
