There are three different suites to choose from at Gilcrest Place, each with its own stylish and unique décor.

Both the Bayview and the Lookout Suites have magnificent sea views with their own private entrances and private balconies. The suites come equipped with a Queen-sized bed, TV with DStv, a minibar fridge, hairdryer, walk-in wardrobe, a large bathrooms with a bath and shower (Lookout only has a shower) and a tea, coffee and rusk station.

The Clamshell Suite is downstairs and comes with its own entrance and a partial sea view that can be enjoyed from the patio. The suite comes equipped with a Queen-sized bed, a charming bathroom with a bath and shower, a TV with DStv, a minibar fridge and a tea, coffee and rusk station.

Breakfast is served every morning at Gilcrest Place, so guests can enjoy a delicious meal while overlooking the ocean. Free Wi-Fi and secure parking is available on the premises, and a laundry service is available on request.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.
