In the heart of Bekbaai, Paternoster in the Western Cape lies the tranquil self-catering accommodation of Bekkie. This spacious sea-front accommodation is surrounded by a beautiful, pristine ocean and sand dunes.

Paternoster’s roots lie in fishing which has carried on to this day with old traditional fisherman still plying their trade in town. The town has turned into a total ‘foodie’ destination, with many of the factory buildings and sheds converted into beautiful shops and restaurants.

The town is surrounded by three unspoilt beaches; Bekbaai, Voorstrand and Langstrand. You can enjoy a stay in Paternoster all year round; the autumns and winters are windless and clear blue skies can be seen all day.

There are two Morso fireplaces in the house which will help keep everyone warm during the cold winter nights. A large TV with DStv is in the living room to keep you entertained as well as free Wi-Fi. There are two outdoor braais and one indoor braai so you can choose to enjoy a traditional South African braai in the comfort of your home or under the stars.

A double garage is on the premises offering you secure parking for your peace of mind. The house has alarms and security beams in place and a guard patrols the area nearby. Your safety is top priority at Bekkie.

In downtown Paternoster you can buy fresh bread, delicious cappuccinos and the shops offer an interesting range of products for sale.

Trendy, world-class restaurants can be found in town if you don’t feel like cooking on some days.

Rates at Bekkie range from R3850 to R5900 depending on the season. High season takes place in December and January, and also includes Easter and the Jazz weekend. Middle season takes place between January and April and from August to December, low season is between May and July.
