Sabaan Holiday Resort has 22 self-catering Chalets that are well-maintained and comfortable, and can accommodate a grand total of 140 people at a time. No matter how crowded, Sabaan Holiday Resort manages to maintain the peacefulness and tranquillity of the Sabie Valley.

The Chalets come equipped with double beds fitted with quality linen, a bathroom with a shower or bath (guests must please bring their own towels as the Resort will not provide any), a fully-equipped kitchenette, a braai area, a fan and a secure parking area.

A daily cleaning service is available upon request at an additional fee. Rates at Sabaan Holiday resort range from just R550 to R2 200 per unit.

EXPERIENCE ALL KINDS OF FUN AT SABAAN

A sparkling swimming pool is available for guests to cool down during the hot summer days. Spectacular views of the valley can be seen from the poolside, making the experience all the more memorable. While some Chalets have a TV with DStv, some have OpenView.

A play area for the kids to enjoy is filled with fun activities such as a slide, trampolines, jungle gym and swing, table tennis, a tennis court and a snooker table.

The large grass lawns and ancient trees provide an excellent space for those, who enjoy playing games such as soccer, rugby, cricket or volleyball outdoors.

The Resort has also added a new 200-seater wedding and entertainment venue to its offering. With 180 degree views over the Sabie River Valley, the venue is perfect for weddings, reunions, church camps, conferences corporate groups, sport groups and birthday parties.

On request, they will do your catering and you are still welcome to get your own caterers for functions and weddings. Accommodation and parking is also available for guests and delegates.

Guests can experience nearby adrenalin-filled activities such as zip-lining, white water rafting, paintball, hiking and archery, hot air ballooning, caving, quad-biking, abseiling and mountain biking.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.

No matter that the food is delicious and the setting delightful, poor service can ruin the occasion. However, great service combined with mediocre meal and a plane jane restaurant can still be a pleasant night out.

We’ve eaten in restaurants that are really dirty but with incredible food and couldn’t help but give a rave review. We’ve also hardly noticed what we ate because the setting was just amazing.
