Café Bella opened its doors at the Beacon Bay Retail Park, East London, in 2007 with a second site opening at the Hemingways Mall in 2009.
Owners, Stephen Petzer and Julie Pearson, had a dream of opening a restaurant when they were still teenagers. With a passion for gelato ice-cream, fresh food and good coffee the Café Bella concept was born. Café Bella uses the finest imported Italian ingredients to make the best Italian gelato. Home-roasted coffee beans are used for their signature coffees.
Their extensive menu consists of a variety of light meals such as toasted sandwiches, salads, wraps, rye melts, savoury pancakes as well as burgers, pastas and baked potatoes. Apart from their vast range of coffees and hot drinks, Café Bella offers wide selection dairy and non-dairy smoothies, a selection of deliciously decadent milkshakes and the best waffles ever.
A great kiddies menu is also available for children under the age of 10 and for those over the age of 18 years, a range of Dom Pedro’s, decadent gelato sundaes and Irish coffees made with fresh farm cream awaits!
New ideas are always being explored. Recently Café Bella, launched new thin-base Italian pizzas and they want to launch franchises in the future.
