Electric Avenue is the ultimate family entertainment centre!

You probably guessed it from the name. Electric Avenue, situated at the Hemingways Mall, is where you should be heading if you are looking for a thrilling afternoon/evening out with family or friends in a clean and safe environment in East London.

Electric Avenue caters for all ages and offers a large complement of traditional arcade games – from Ten Pin Bowling, Dodgems, Pool Tables and an Action Bar.
With over 90 machines to choose from, there is definitely something for everyone.

Much like any arcade, the games reward you with tickets that you can cash in at the toy shop for great prizes. Their staff are notably friendly and helpful should you need any assistance.

Electric Avenue also boasts the latest arcade games from Riders, Shooters, Dance Revolutions, and Redemption to Air Hockey. You can also enjoy an augmented reality experience by trying out the 3D/4D simulator or take a funky trip through the Vortex Tunnel.

At the Action Bowling centre, there are 10 dynamic lanes to choose from that can be enjoyed by all ages. The lanes allow up to eight players per lane, so fun with your friends and family is no problem.

Electric Avenue offers specials on certain days for students and pensioners wanting to roll their shoulders back and knock a few pins down.

Pensioners can play at a discounted price on Mondays, students on Tuesdays, and kids under the age of 12 can play for free on Wednesdays. On Thursdays, you can enjoy a complimentary drink with every game.

If you’re looking for an attraction that really gets the adrenalin pumping, try out their Formula Dodgems bumper cars. Here, the whole family or your group of friends can enjoy a safe and supervised ‘bumping’ experience while trying to be the last car untouched.

Electric Avenue also hosts kids’ birthday parties as well as corporate team building events.

There are four different kids’ party packages on offer to suit every budget.

Bookings are essential, and you need a minimum of ten people to book a function.

The Pool Bar on the premises has a wait-staff that can serve you throughout your function to ensure total leisure. You also have the option of running a bar tab throughout the evening, which you can settle at the end of your function.

To my mind a great restaurant offers three things – excellent service, great food and a wonderful ambiance. Of these, service is the most important.
