Bon Accord Guest House is an unpretentious place aimed at those needing a decent place where they can get rest, a good meal and a decent shower.
It has three rooms. Each room is functional and has ample living space, en-suite bathrooms, DStv, a hairdryer, mini-fridge, heaters, fan, and a small kettle.
The Bliss Room is furnished with a Queen-size bed and sleeper couch. It has its own stoep (or verandah) where you can relax and catch the sunset.
Perhaps aptly named, the Relax Room also comes with a Queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. It also has its own stoep.
The third room is called the Joy Room. Since it comes with two single beds, it is suited for travelling friends or a family travelling with kids. It also comes with a stoep and en-suite bathroom.
Expect a good breakfast to get you on your way in the mornings. Dinner can be arranged on request – either made in-house or you will get a voucher which you can redeem at a local restaurant just a few meters away. There are also a few coffee shops in the town.

Things to do in and around Uniondale
If you are history buff, you will find plenty of things to do in Uniondale. The town has many beautiful, historic buildings including an old watermill and the old Bon Accord hall that is adjacent to the guest house.
Four of five forts that were built by the British to protect the town during the Anglo-Boer are still visible in the area, one of which is easily accessible as it overlooks the town.
Other things for you to enjoy are golf, bowls, bird watching, cycle & walking tours, 4×4 trails, off-road motorcycle rides and scenic drives.
